Role Summary/Purpose: The Senior IT Program Management Leader : Portfolio Management will be responsible for leading the portfolio management of GE Power ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) program. You will be a member of the ERP Senior Executive staff. You will possess GE / industry expertise, interpersonal / client engagement skills, and strong program management and leadership capabilities.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Senior IT Program Management Leader : Portfolio Management, you will:
:Partner with COE (Center of Excellence) leaders and business partners to develop the multi:year Power ERP road:map, understand inter:dependencies of different business applications and provide pivotal guidance to the overall program execution
:Own senior leadership communication on the program updates. Define standards and create a consistent communication rhythm for program planning, execution and status, keeping the business and global IT leadership well informed
:Own the overall program budget, build operating mechanisms to drive visibility to program costs and set up controls to drive cost optimization
:Lead the risk management portfolio of the ERP program
:Drive early visibility to the upper management on key risks. One point owner of the risk register, set up processes to hold the team (business and IT) accountable for driving the risk mitigation plans
:Focal point interface between ERP, Corporate IT and Integration teams to foster effective collaboration
:Manage the MGPP and drive focus towards the critical path items
:Define and communicate key program milestones and collaborate with the broader team for tollgate reviews
:Initiate and coordinate outsourced supplier efforts, as required
:Bachelors Degree in Information systems or an Engineering Field
:Minimum of 10 years of experience with current information technologies and their implementation into the business function
